Lesson Price

£40 per hour BUT I will match the price of ANY Chiswick-based guitar teacher! Also, see the Special Offers page.

Lessons are held in my comfy, tidy lounge in Chiswick, or anywhere in the world via Skype. Here's a map:

Lessons can be booked for a regular weekly or fortnightly time/day, or as one-off lessons when you feel ready to learn something new.

Booking Lessons

To book a lesson please contact Alistair via email or telephone the number at the top of this page. Lessons are booked on a first-come-first-served basis.

Terms & Conditions

Cancelling a Booked Lesson

48 hours notice is required for cancellations - or the lesson fee will be forfeited. This is absolutely regardless of your reason for cancelling the lesson. However, there is no charge for rescheduling a lesson to a time and day within the same week (Mon-Sat) that the lesson was originally scheduled for, if such a slot is available.

Alistair usually teaches several lessons in a row, which means that you cannot expect your lesson to be moved back to accommodate lateness (regardless of the reason i.e. traffic, working late, etc), and lessons will end at the scheduled time. For example, if you are 10 minutes late for an hour long lesson then your lesson will last only 50 minutes, but the full price of the lesson will still be payable.

No Show

If you do not show up for a scheduled lesson, regardless of the reason, you will be charged the full price of the lesson.

Payment should be made in cash at the end of each guitar lesson, or for guitar lessons via Skype, bank transfer or PayPal before each lesson. For bulk buying discounts see the Special Offers page.
